My values
What I won't compromise on, job after job.
Anyone can put good values on a website. These are the ones I'd stand behind on any job I've done — ask a past customer and see if they agree.
I'll tell you what a job needs, not what's easiest to sell
If something doesn't need doing, I'll say so — even if it costs me the extra line on the invoice. If there's a cheaper way to get the same result, I'll offer it. Trust is worth more to me than a bigger number on a quote.
If I say Tuesday, I mean Tuesday
Building work has a habit of running long, but poor communication is what actually damages trust. I keep you posted if something shifts, and I don't take on more jobs than I can properly attend to.
Finished properly, not just finished
Straight lines, square corners, and fixings that will still be sound in fifteen years. I'd rather spend an extra hour getting a detail right than rush it to move on to the next job.
It's your home, not a building site I happen to be in
Dust sheets, swept floors, and care around your belongings — every single day, not just for the final walkthrough. I treat every property the way I'd want a tradesperson to treat mine.
If something's not right, I come back and fix it
I'm insured, I stand behind my work, and I don't disappear once the final payment clears. If you spot a snag after I've left, it gets sorted — no arguments.
See it in practice
See the work itself
Values are only worth what they add up to on the ground. Here's a look at real jobs, room by room.
